Special
Fermented and macerated for 21 days with the skins and then aged in French oak barrels for 24 months. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
It's a wine from the 2013 vintage and now it has been in the bottle for 7 years.
Organic grapes harvested by hand and selected with great care.
Varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Soil: Slate soil with river stones, poor in organic matter.
Climate: Mild winters and hot summers. With the influence of the Tramuntana all year round, a dry wind that comes from the north passing through the Albera mountains.
Tasting note
View: Dense purple-red color with hints of brown from the long aging in the barrel and bottle.
Aroma: Complex and pure aromas, with hints of very ripe fruit and hints of chocolate and spices.
Mouth: The structure of the tannins is subtle, and lead to a very rich and balanced wine with great depth. A surprising wine that requires appreciation.
It is recommended to decant prior to tasting and serve at a temperature of 18 degrees.
